Glasses for my Dolls

So, I bring the blog back to an up-to-date state. As far as glasses are concerned, a lot has happened.

The first casting of the glasses was not very convincing. He was not a bit clear and rather dull. The second one, seen on the picture, was a bit better. I was on the right track.

Then I had cast a new mold and another glass and one with the old mold. In one of the glasses, I filled some resin with paint. It gave the impression of coke. Unfortunately, the glass tipped over before the resin was dry. However, I liked the effect of the tilted glass and I let it harden as it was.

Another one I filled with a different color. The impression of whiskey was planned. That didn’t really work out yet. So we have to experiment a little bit further here.

The left glass is the one from the last shape and already a lot better. I am particularly satisfied with that so far.

Besides, I always made one or the other casting of the bits and buckles for the horses. So far, I’m quite satisfied with it. I used gold pigments to dye. In the last picture the bit on the horse.
